NinerNotice: Possible Traffic Disruptions Tomorrow

As you may know, a group of Buddhist monks are conducting a Walk for Peace from Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C.

According to their social media account, their journey should have them in south Charlotte this afternoon/evening, Wednesday, Jan. 14. Their current path has them entering the University City area sometime tomorrow, Jan 15. We expect the roadways around campus may experience congestion, closures and traffic issues as the group travels north.

Please allow extra time and be mindful of changes in traffic patterns as you travel tomorrow and through the week as the group’s itinerary could change.
