NinerNotice: Update on Potential Traffic Disruptions Today

As shared in yesterday’s NinerNotice, a group of Buddhist monks is conducting a Walk for Peace from Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C.

Their current path has them entering the University City area later this afternoon. They are expected to pass through the area along U.S. Hwy 29 between 4 and 5 p.m., which will coincide with rush hour traffic.

Please plan accordingly as you navigate campus and the surrounding areas. We expect the roadways around campus may experience congestion, closures and traffic issues as the group travels north.
